What We Do

Since 2014, AARAMBH has been working selflessly with contributions from founder members, core team members, and volunteers. Despite this handicap, we have been running nearly 10 projects every year. So far, we have accomplished 60 projects or activities since inception.Our footprints in social development activities have touched the lives of nearly 2000 individuals (children, women, and youth).

AARAMBH works in all areas of social empowerment activities and initiatives through our various themes and has given special emphasis on women empowerment and children education in a sustainable manner. We are equally focused on other important aspects like environment, skill development, sanitation, child protection and health issues of women & children especially in weaker economic section of our society.

Collaborative Awareness

The ability to be attuned to and aware of others is an essential element of the social communication required for healthy development of society. Team AARAMBH has undertaken multiple initiatives not only making our women from weaker section of society aware of various programs, but also inviting other NGOs to partner for their development.

Covid Warriors

COVID19 hit all of us hard and caught us off guard. With sudden & prolonged lockdowns, it was tough for a common man, especially from a challenging socio-economic background, to make their ends meet. We at AARAMBH take pride in taking the initiative of distributing COVID-Kit that includes sanitizer, mask, soap etc. to the needy.

Creative Quest

As they say, “To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong”. AARAMBH in association with RN Talks organized creative competition on various topics to identify raw talent and select them for personal development and career counselling.

Education

AARAMBH believes that education and cultures are intertwined. We attempt to provide a lived experience to our younger ones by exposing them to various cultural festivities.

Identifying Touch

One aspect that lacks in our education is about our own body safety. We teach our children about road safety, even internet safety. We at AARAMBH took this initiative to familiarize with different kind of touch gestures and identify the good ones and the bad ones.

Khel Aarambh

Our program for promotion and relevance of sports that cannot be stated in mere words. It is important for overall development mentally & physically. And not only for our children, even for our members.

LifeSkill Workshop

Life skills are a set of basic skills acquired through learning and/or direct life experience that enable individuals and groups to effectively handle issues and problems commonly encountered in daily life.

Marriage Support

Marriage is just not a function, it is a union of two families. To make it special for those in need, team AARAMBH takes pride in supporting girl child’s marriage and attempt to make this day special for them.

Natural Calamities

Natural disasters have long lasting consequences especially on those in weaker socio-economic segment of our society. Beyond dealing with damages and possible loss of property, team AARAMBH believes that individuals and communities must contend.

Nutrition & Education

The importance of early childhood education cannot be overstated. A child’s early years are the foundation for future development, providing a strong base for lifelong learning and learning abilities, including cognitive and social development.

Orphans Care

Unsettling truth of our society is lack of care of orphans. We at AARAMBH have a dedicated program to take care of orphans not only economically but emotionally as well. Team AARAMBH volunteer to spend hours with younger ones.

Plantation

For a better environment, not only we need to reduce waste generation, but we also need to plan more trees that contribute towards healthier environment. AARAMBH contributes and inspire others to plant more trees and is an ongoing effort.

Rakt Aarambh

Blood is the lifeline to a human body. It can’t be manufactured outside a human body and it has no substitute. Under our program RaktAarambh, we aim to highlight the importance of blood donation and create awareness about donating it regularly that helps society in maintaining diversity in the blood supply.

Skill Development

Our interaction with women from challenged economic status revealed the gap between the rich & the poor quite evidently. In addition, women in our area lack the confidence to engage with society in general. To overcome this, we kicked a Skill Development campaign, much on the lines of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” by our Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

Social Awareness

Encompasses key life skills such as empathy, compassion and understanding of relationships. A strong sense of social awareness means one can effectively read situations and people by understanding and empathizing with their emotions.

Steel Bank

Single-use plastic is a known and established threat to our environment. In our country, almost half of plastic waste generated every year is single-use plastic. We alone cannot fix it however we can contribute towards reducing it. Team AARAMBH created “Steel Bank” that carries all utensils and is available to rent out FREE OF CHARGE for any social gathering by anyone.

Swasth Aarambh

An initiative that is focused on health & hygiene of women as health of entire family or community is dependent on health of their women. Before having access to healthcare, it is extremely important to recognize importance of healthcare.
