Care for Women

Aarambh Trust for Women and Children has been consistently working towards improving menstrual health and hygiene awareness among girls and women from underserved communities.
As part of its regular outreach, Aarambh conducts sanitary pad distribution drives in schools, villages, and urban slums, ensuring access to safe and hygienic menstrual products for those who need them most. Alongside distribution, the Trust organizes menstrual hygiene awareness talks and interactive quizzes, helping break long-standing myths and taboos associated with menstruation.

These sessions educate adolescent girls about:

• Menstrual health and body awareness

• Correct usage and disposal of sanitary pads 

• Importance of hygiene and self-care

• Building confidence and removing stigma

In keeping with its commitment to sustainability, Aarambh also actively promotes eco-friendly sanitary pads made from corn skin, encouraging an environmentally responsible alternative to conventional products. This initiative addresses both women’s health and environmental protection, especially in densely populated slum areas where waste management is a challenge.
