Natural Calamities

Aarambh Trust for Women and Children has always stepped forward in times of crisis, extending support and relief to communities affected by natural disasters.

During the recent floods in North India in 2025, Aarambh actively contributed to flood relief efforts in Punjab, providing essential supplies to affected families. In addition, the Trust personally reached out to those impacted closer to home by visiting relief camps set up along the Yamuna riverbeds in Delhi, ensuring timely assistance reached those in urgent need.

Relief material distributed included:
• Grocery essentials and rice

• Ready food kits

• Sanitary napkins

• Biscuits

• Dental hygiene kits

These efforts were carried out with a spirit of compassion and consistent on-ground involvement, ensuring dignity and care for vulnerable families, especially women and children.

Aarambh’s commitment to disaster relief is not recent. The Trust was also actively involved in the Kerala flood relief operations in 2018, contributing resources and support during one of the country’s most devastating natural calamities.

Through sustained and hands-on relief work, Aarambh continues to stand by communities in distress, reaffirming its belief in empathy, action, and collective responsibility.
